Memorial Heavy Equipment Return Policy on New and Exchange Parts

  1. All parts returned must be in the original package in new, saleable condition.
  2. Parts returned for credit must be accompanied by the invoice or packing list indicating how and when they were originally purchased.
  3. Non-returnable and replaced items, as defined by Original Company, which are non-stock items by Memorial Heavy Equipment cannot be accepted. Additionally:
    1. Fluid carrying tubes with the end protection removed are non-returnable. b. Gasket sets that have been opened are non-returnable. c. Non-stock made to order hoses are non-returnable. d. Non-stock parts that are $45.00 cost or less are non-returnable.
  4. A cost recovery fee: will be assessed for all returnable parts according to the following schedule:
    1. 0% on returnable stock items returned within 5 days of purchase. b. 10% on returnable stock items returned within 6-30 days. c. 10% on returnable non-stock items returned within 10 days of purchase, 15% within 11 to 30 days. d. Parts returned after 30 days of purchase will be accepted on a negotiated basis only. e. Parts left in the will call customer pickup area longer than 10 working days will be credited to your account less the appropriate cost recovery fee.
  5. Remanufactured product cores returned for credit within 60 days of purchase will receive full allowable credit. Credits for cores returned after 60 days will be accepted on a negotiated basis only.
  6. Credit Card Charge Backs– You must return merchandise before you receive credit. A credit card charge back issued to us for unreturned merchandise is not acceptable. Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage of products being shipped for return, exchange or replacement. Please fully insure return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery such as UPS, Federal Express or DHL. This is for your protection as well as to ensure quick action on your return.
  7. Lost Boxes If you feel a box has been lost in transit, please call with the order or invoice number and a list of the missing items. A tracer will be initiated at that time. A claim number will be issued if the carrier does not show delivery within 10 days of the scheduled delivery date. Credit will be issued for the missing merchandise when we obtain the claim number from the carrier.
  8. Refusing a Shipment If we receive back a shipment that has been refused you will be charged shipping in directions (to and from you). No credit will be issued except against an exchange for other merchandise.
